New York Stories is an original musical by Joseph Colaneri. The work debuted as a 30 minute song cycle. The story follows Anthony, a closeted homosexual in the 1930s, and his relationships with both his wife and secret lover. Anthony's internalized homophobia is personified by the Society Members, an ensemble that aids in storytelling elements.
